Geriatric Nursing Home

Project Plan: Community Geriatric Nursing Home

An initiative of the "Nour Al Haha Medical Services" Association

Facility Size: 1,000 m²

Required Budget: ₪ 10,000,000

1. General Background

The "Nour Al Hahat Medical Services" Association was established for the health of the community in the Triangle region and its surroundings. The Association operates an active medical center, with doctors, nurses, paramedics, and ambulance drivers, driven by the mission to save lives and provide a rapid, professional, and respectful medical response to every person.

Our vision is to make advanced and respectful healthcare services accessible to every resident, at any age and any time. Out of this goal, the real and urgent need arose to establish the first geriatric nursing home of its kind in the region, which will combine quality medical treatment with human warmth, sensitivity, and a sense of belonging to the community.

2. Project Goal

To establish a modern geriatric nursing home covering approximately 1,000 , which will provide professional, medical, and nursing care of the highest standard, while preserving the quality of life, human dignity, and safety of every resident. The project aims to provide a solution for the elderly and their families in the Triangle region, where there is currently no advanced geriatric framework available.

3. Project Importance for the Community

The project is expected to be a significant change for the local population:

  • Currently, residents are forced to send their parents to distant institutions. Establishing such a facility will strengthen the sense of community belonging and security.

  • The nursing home will provide a medical, nursing, and emotional response close to home.

  • The project will create dozens of local jobs in the fields of medicine, nursing, kitchen, and service.

  • A social and activity center for the elderly will be established, which will strengthen intergenerational ties and encourage community volunteering.

  • This is a project with a social, medical, and community impact – a true investment in life itself.

4. Facility Description

  • Total area: approximately 1,000 m².

  • An accessible, safe, and equipped structure in accordance with Ministry of Health requirements.

  • Includes:

    • 40 beds (private and double rooms).

    • Treatment and physiotherapy rooms.

    • Dining hall and industrial kitchen.

  • Funding a room/wing on behalf of the donor or their family.

  • Partnership in medical equipment or a scholarship for employees.

10. Honoring Donors and Partners

The "Or Chaim Medical Services" Association views every donor as a true partner in our path and mission – to save lives, improve the quality of medical service, and build a healthy and safe future for the community. Every donation, small or large, is a significant part of realizing our vision, and it is met with deep recognition and appreciation.

The Association operates a unique donor recognition program to give donors a sense of belonging and meaning, which includes options based on the scope of the donation:

Personal Commemoration and Recognition

  • Donors can dedicate their contribution in memory of their loved ones or for their family.

  • The Association will respectfully note their name in one of the following ways:

    • Commemoration board and central donors' board at the entrance to the nursing home.

    • Naming a room or wing after the donor or the family.

    • Official certificate of recognition bearing the donor's name.

    • Receiving quarterly updates with photos and progress reports.

    • Periodic visits to the project site and the nursing home.

    • Participation in an Advisory Board.

    • Mention and logo of the donating body in official publications and launch events (subject to approval).

Public Recognition

  • Donors' names will be displayed on an official honor board in the building and on the Association's website.

  • Large donors will be mentioned in official publications, annual reports, and recognition events.
